Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the opening of Bellustar Tokyo, a Pan Pacific Hotel and Hotel Groove Shinjuku, a Parkroyal Hotel, in the center of the Shinjuku district.
Designed by Yuko Nagayama & Associates, the 48-story Tokyu Kabukicho Tower is the first skyscraper designed by a woman in Japan. Located on the upper floors of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, the luxury Bellustar Tokyo, a Pan Pacific Hotel, has 97 rooms ranging from 441 to 2,980 square feet, with floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the city skyline.
The hotel also offers five one-bedroom penthouse suites ranging from 1,200 to 2,980 square feet on the 45th to 47th floors. The largest Sky Villa penthouse on the 47th floor has its own spa treatment room, kitchen and jacuzzi, while the other penthouse suites include a living room, kitchen and bar. Good to know: 24/7 butler service is available on request, while a private chef is available to provide an in-room fine-dining experience for penthouse guests. Exclusive to penthouse guests, the Penthouse Lounge, located on the 46th floor, can accommodate private meetings, gatherings and afternoon teas.
F&B venues include the French restaurant Bellustar; Bar Bellustar; Teppan Ten-yu, a Teppanyaki restaurant located on the 45th floor, and Sushi Jin-È, which affords views of Mt. Fuji and the city. The hotel’s spa offers a range of treatments.
Located from the 18th to 38th floors of the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower, the 538-key Hotel Groove Shinjuku, a Parkroyal Hotel, highlights a mix of art and music, inspired by the entertainment scene of Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district. To that end, the hotel collaborated with local artists Yoshiaki Kaihatsu, Takuro Tamayama and Tomoyuki Washio to create nine guestrooms depicting the ancient art history and culture of Kabukicho and Shinjuku with furnishings and vibrant colors that reflect the heritage and pop culture of the city.
The hotel’s latest dining and bar space Jam17, located on 17th floor, has a rooftop terrace equipped with a giant live screen and live entertainment. The outdoor space is well-suited for events, cocktail parties and weddings. Restaurants and bar include Jam17 Dining, which offers a variety of classic Italian dishes from pizzas, pasta or grilled seafood, to signature roasts, while Jam17 Geletaria offers a range of gelatos. Jam17 Bar serves a range of original cocktails curated by Shingo Gokan of the SG Club in Tokyo.
Upcoming openings include Parkroyal Serviced Suites Hanoi overlooking West Lake, Parkroyal Serviced Suites Jakarta in October, and Parkroyal Jakarta and Pan Pacific Jakarta in 2024. In the next two years, the group will be expanding the Parkroyal brand in cities such as Malacca, Dalian and Siem Reap.
