Paradisus Cancun introduced 75 new Ocean View Luxury Junior Suites. The new accommodations include a private terrace with ocean views, marble floors and a modern bathroom featuring a rain shower and Thierry Mugler products.
Coming with either one king-size bed or two double beds, the new suite category offers 473 square feet of space. Amenities include a 50-inch television, Wi-Fi, 24-hour room service and a minibar. Rates, based on double occupancy, start at $440 a night.
The new Ocean View Luxury Junior Suites follow the introduction of two other new room categories less than a couple years ago. In June 2017, Paradisus Cancun completed a $2.6 million renovation, unveiling 135 Royal Service Ocean View Suites at the time. Then later, in December that year, it introduced the new Royal Service Lagoon View Suites. The resort’s other room options range from its collection of Family Concierge suites to the more expansive Royal Service accommodations.
In all, Paradisus Cancun offers 657 suites. Located on a white sand beach, the property includes four pools, a nine-hole golf course and a spa. It is a member of the Paradisus by Meliá brand, which itself is owned and managed by Meliá Hotels International. The worldwide hotel company encompasses a variety of brands, including Gran Meliá Hotels & Resorts, ME by Meliá, Meliá Hotels & Resorts, INNSIDE by Meliá, Sol by Meliá and TRYP by Wyndham.
