Park Hyatt St. Kitts has named Richard Elliott its general manager. Elliott will oversee the resort’s operations, including its 126 guestrooms and suites, five restaurants and bars, and 7,000 square feet of event space.

Elliott’s Hyatt career spans 17 years. He has held leadership positions with properties across four brands including the Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Regency, Grand Hyatt and Andaz. Most recently, Elliott was the general manager of the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach, where he drove RevPar growth and enhanced sustainability campaigns and programming.

Prior to his role with Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach, Elliott was the director of operations at the 300-room Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort. Additional experiences include helming Grand Hyatt Baha Mar’s pre-opening project as senior director of rooms; exceeding customer service, colleague engagement and hotel profitability for five consecutive years as senior director of rooms at Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa; and overseeing rebranding efforts as director of rooms for Hyatt Regency Bonaventure & Convention Center in Florida.

“We are thrilled to welcome Richard Elliott to lead Park Hyatt's sole Caribbean property,” said Thierry Guillot, senior vice president of operations, Hyatt Latin America & Caribbean. “A Hyatt veteran, Richard has been a pivotal member of our family for nearly two decades. We look forward to unveiling distinguished guest experiences and ushering in a new era of creativity and sophistication with Richard at the helm.”
