Corsair Hospitality Group has announced the opening of The Pensacola Beach Resort, an independently branded property on Florida’s "Emerald Coast." The property offers 161 waterfront guestrooms, including 24 Executive King rooms with wrap-around balconies, plus coastal-inspired public spaces, a pool deck, new restaurant concept, retail offerings, a beach bar, and a curated art collection of impressionist maritime images.
Sitting on over 800 feet of gulf-front property, the resort has views overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, Little Sabine Bay and the Intracoastal Waterway. Drawing from its sugar-white sand beaches and turquoise waters, the hotel’s coastal design incorporates varying shades of blue, with touches of rum-colored woods and gold. Upon entry, guests will notice the West Indies-inspired furniture arranged in the hotel’s lobby, offering a social, multifunctional setting.
Adjacent to the pool deck, overlooking the Gulf, is the Tiki Bar, serving beverages and specialty island cocktails. The resort is also home to The Salty Rose, a beach bar and grill whose name is a take on a sailor’s watering hole. Guests and locals can pop over for island music, beach games, and a menu of salads, local fish sandwiches and loaded nachos. The Salty Rose will offer a new calendar of programming throughout the year. Elsewhere, open exclusively to hotel guests, Windrose restaurant takes its name from Pensacola’s historic maritime culture and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu includes a mix of hotel classics and coastal cuisine inspired by the flavors of the area’s Southern roots.
Good to know: The Pensacola Beach Resort offers numerous activities for families and guests of all ages. Guests have a private boardwalk out to the beach with beach chairs and umbrella rentals available. They also have a private dock on Little Sabine Bay from which they can kayak or paddleboard. Guests can also reserve one of the daytime or sunset dolphin cruises aboard an open-air powerboat to see one of the largest populations of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat.
The resort also offers 1,200 square feet of event space for meetings, conferences, retreats or destination weddings. The Lagoon Room holds up to 80 guests. Directly next door is the 11-seat Blue Angels Boardroom with professional AV equipment. The hotel also offers on-site catering for all events.
