Thompson Austin has announced the official debut of The Residences at Thompson Austin, its exclusive collection of 17 fully livable residential suites available at a nightly rate. Serving as a step above a traditional suite, the Residences introduce an entirely new way to stay, complemented by unique collaborations with celebrated brands and an array of conveniences. The only Thompson Hotel property in the U.S. to offer this type of accommodation, the Residences serve as Thompson Austin’s most luxurious suite offering to date.
The Residences range from studios to two-bedrooms, housed exclusively on the 16th floor of Thompson Austin—allowing guests a private entrance and priority check-in. The luxury accommodations each include floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the Austin city skyline, full-service kitchens complete with professional-quality Made-In cookware—used also by Thompson’s chef partner Mashama Bailey—and upgraded appliances, in-unit washers and dryers, and tranquil bathrooms. The Residences’ interiors were designed by Simeone Deary Design Group, showcasing the similar mixed metal finishes and soft leathers seen throughout the hotel.
Residential guests also experience VIP benefits, such as round-trip airport transfer, upgraded linens, a VIP turndown service complete with complimentary eye masks and truffles, Skin Authority facial kits with livestream step-by-step guidance, dry cleaning credits, pre-arrival grocery services, and access to an indoor dog run. Each residence stay comes with a dedicated, 24-hour concierge who can coordinate bespoke activities including private in-room culinary experiences with the hotel’s chefs, in-suite IV therapy and massages, Peloton deliveries, gaming experiences, childcare services and more. Residential guests also receive exclusive benefits around town including complimentary tickets to celebrated attractions like the Contemporary Museum, the Mexic-Arte Museum and iconic blues venue, Antone’s—whose expert team curates the records available alongside each Residence’s Victrola record player.
Outside of the luxe in-room experience, The Residences at Thompson Austin also offer access to a wealth of perks available across the property.
