The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos has appointed Tony Mira as general manager. Mira brings over 15 years of experience complemented by a deep understanding of the Ritz-Carlton brand. In his new role, Mira will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the resort.
Mira’s hospitality career began when he joined Westin Hotels as a management trainee. He spent several years there, holding multiple progressive positions prior to joining the Renaissance Chicago Hotel, where he eventually became the director of food and beverage. His next role was his first as general manager at the Renaissance Hotel Battle Creek. In 2006, he joined The Ritz-Carlton, becoming the general manager at the Dearborn, Michigan property. After four years in Dearborn, Mira transferred to The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort, Rose Hall Jamaica. After four successful years at the property, Mira went on to become the general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey, where he remained prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos.
