Room Mate Hotels has opened the new Room Mate Andrea in Trapani. The new property is the company's first hotel in Sicily and its fifth in Italy.
The new accommodation is part of the company's expansion plan to double its portfolio in 1.5 years. Eleven new projects – all already confirmed – will be added to the 26 hotels that the chain currently operates and extend the amount of rooms from 1,808 to 3,600 by the end of 2020.
Note: Another recent addition to the hotel’s collection is Room Mate Alain in Paris. It is the company’s first property in France.
Room Mate Andrea has 47 rooms and is situated in a palazzo constructed in the early 1900’s by Marquess Enrico Platamone. Aesthetically, the place is designed to retain an original neoclassical style. It is located near the beach and Trapani's old town.
The international chain's new boutique hotel also features decorated rooms and communal areas, along with a meeting room, bar and a terrace complete with sun deck and swimming pool. Guests can use the terrace to check out Trapani.
All of Andrea's guests can experience the company's services: breakfast served until 12.00 midday and Wimate, a free WiFi service available at the hotel and throughout the city.
Room Mate Hotels says its philosophy is grounded in the idea that the best way to travel is by visiting friends. Each one of Room Mate's hotels has its own name, location, design and personality.
