Rosita From Sesame Street Joins Beaches Resorts' Cast of Characters

Beaches Resorts is adding Rosita from Sesame Street as its newest walkaround. 

The bilingual member of Sesame Street will join the existing cast this fall at Beaches Negril Beach Resort & Spa and Beaches Ocho Rios Spa, Golf & Waterpark Resort in Jamaica, and at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa in Turks & Caicos as part of Beaches Resorts’ exclusive Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street.

Beaches Resorts says it is the only Caribbean resort company to offer activities with a cast of walkarounds including Elmo, Cookie Monster, Super Grover, Zoe, Bert and Ernie, Abby Cadabby, The Count, Oscar the Grouch, Big Bird, Julia, and now, Rosita. Soccer Time with Rosita invites children of all ages to play her favorite game of soccer while learning a bit of Spanish along the way.

In addition to the introduction of Rosita, Beaches Resorts is also announcing its support of the Sesame Street Road Trip, bringing free family festivals to 10 cities across the United States. The road trip launches on June 1, 2019, in New York City and ends in August after moving through Washington, D.C., Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Denver, Seattle and Los Angeles. At each festival, Beaches Resorts will sponsor a Sand Play area; families in each city will also have the opportunity to enter to win one of ten Luxury Included vacations for a family of four.

As part of the 50th anniversary festivities on resort, guests of all ages to get in on the celebration with an enhanced weekly Carnival parade, including Rosita and her Sesame Street friends, and a weekly Sesame Street Birthday Party.
