Escape Hospitality has announced the opening of The Rounds at Scribner’s, a collection of 11 cabins designed by Wyoming-based firm Post Company. The 12-sided structures offer modernized cabin life lodging, nestled amid pine trees and mountains.
Presenting 11 wood-wrapped configurations, available in two layouts—a standard that sleeps up to four and a suite accommodating up to five—each Round is bathed in natural light, with vaulted pantheon ceilings and a central oculus, perfect for stargazing. Wraparound porches encourage lingering outdoors, whether admiring the surrounding woods over a coffee or luxuriating in the Japanese cedar soaking tubs and showers. Inside, each Round has a gas stove fireplace, custom sunken couch, writing desk and king-sized bed.
Anchored by a central communal building, the Apex Lodge houses a collection of vintage works and contemporary furniture pieces by Michael Robbins and Brian Persico. The amenity building is open to all Rounds and Lodge guests with its warm, welcoming space to unwind and socialize. A blue limestone bar greets guests upon arrival and serves up cocktails by night. A light-filled space will be available for yoga classes upon request or for self-guided sessions.
The Rounds give guests the ability to connect to the natural wilderness of Upstate New York. Prior to arrival, The Rounds concierge will reach out to further personalize the experience, from suggestions for the best trails or local distilleries to reservations at Scribner’s Prospect Restaurant and other eateries.
Contiguous with The Lodge, guests of The Rounds will have access to Scribner’s amenities, including the sauna, pool (seasonal), Glice Rink (seasonal), outdoor garden, library and Prospect Restaurant.
