Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, BVI is reopening after renovations. The property was the first full-service resort in the British Virgin Islands to return to business after Hurricane Irma in September 2017.
Travelers can stay in the 26 rooms and suites in Marina Village available. These include suites with kitchens, living areas and balconies. All 52 guestrooms and suites will be available for stay at the end of December.
Scrub Island also has six spacious villas, including the two-bedroom Pool House, Cliff House and Beach House; the three-bedroom Mariner House; and the four-bedroom Reef House and Villa Mila. These all have a kitchen, dining area, living room, balconies off all bedrooms and living spaces. Other villas—The Sunset House, The Passage House and The Winward House—will open in November.
Along with these upgrades, the resort is improving its dining options at the resort’s upscale and casual restaurants, Caravela and Tierra! Tierra!. The Ixora Spa in The Passage House villa has several treatment rooms, a private pool and a beachfront cabana where guests can get treated while viewing the Caribbean.
People who stay at Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, BVI can also experience its 24-hour fitness room and newly upgraded Wi-Fi network. They can also go to Donovan’s Beach that has water sports and a newly resurfaced multi-tiered infinity pool and pool bar.
Scrub Island is also offering excursions to The Baths in Virgin Gorda, historic wrecks for diving, Norman Island, and the watering holes of Jost van Dyke and Willy T’s.
