Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa has announced the completion of its $50 million renovation project. Following the three-year renovation, the property situated on a private beachfront location on Denarau Island has unveiled revamped guestrooms and public spaces, besides new amenities and experiences. This is the first full renovation since the property opened its doors in 2005.
Guests can choose from a range of room categories, including 52 new Family Rooms, which have one queen bed and two bunk beds. Guests will also enjoy daily access to the new additions to the property: the Nui Kids Beach Club and the Teen Zone. Families can also enjoy the pool, the beach and complimentary non-motorized watersports including kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and Hobie Cat sailing. Motorized watersports are also available for a fee.
The adults-only Waitui Beach Club offers guests a “resort within a resort” experience. It has its own arrival area, infinity pool, cabanas, bar, swim-up bar and restaurant.
New F&B outlets include Waitui Bar & Grill, an adults-only signature poolside dining experience located within the Waitui Beach Club; Suka Bar, a beach bar offering over 30 house-made infused rums; Solis Restaurant, a beachside seafood restaurant; and Bazaar Kitchen & Bar, which has six interactive kitchens dedicated to different international flavors. Tip: Private dining and personalized menus are also available upon request.
Sofitel Spa offers nine treatment rooms, a couples’ treatment room, whirlpool and steam room. Guests can also book appointments at the new Sofitel Salon. They can enroll for group exercise classes and personal training are available at the fitness center.
Deal: Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa is offering a “Waitui Beach Club” package. The offer includes accommodation in a Luxury Waitui Beach Club King Room; access to the Waitui Beach Club with a private cabana including complimentary snacks and daily sunset cocktails; a 30-minute massage per person (once per stay); resort activities and non-motorized watersports; and full breakfast daily, to name a few. The package is available for stays until March 31, 2023.
