Sonesta Resorts Sint Maarten has announced the debut of new fitness and wellbeing programs at Sonesta Ocean Point Resort and Sonesta Maho Beach Resort. The new programs across both resorts offer guests of all ages and levels an array of treatments, along with a new treatment menu just for teens.
Below are the new classes in session:
- Pilates: Ideal for individuals seeking a low-impact workout that strengthens core muscles while improving posture and flexibility.
- Morning Run: Instructors will take guests on a scenic route through the Caribbean.
- Cardio Kickboxing: Combines martial arts techniques with fast-paced cardio.
- Aquacise: This water fitness aerobic workout tones muscles and improves flexibility and coordination.
- Serene Yoga: This class guides guests through achievable postures and encourages mindfulness.
- Gentle Flow Yoga: Unite breath and posture while bringing the body and mind into balance.
- Introduction to Meditation: Learn the fundamentals of this practice to bring relaxation and peace to the body and mind.
Sonesta Ocean Point Resort’s 1,700-square-foot fitness facility will have the latest exercise equipment from Life Fitness, while also offering views of Maho Beach. There’s also a fitness center at Sonesta Maho Resort, also including Life Fitness machines, free weights, treadmills and elliptical machines. Additionally, one-on-one sessions and personal training with instructors are available upon request through the concierge.
Sonesto Maho Resort has also updated their 2,500-square-foot Serenity Spa. The Serenity Spa has six treatment rooms, two pedicure and manicure stations, a menu of facials, body wraps and scrubs, massages and specialized wellbeing treatments. Guests can improve circulation and detoxify at the new sauna and steam rooms. Access is complimentary the day of treatment.
In addition, a new spa program for teens ages 13 through 17 is available offering a variety of active or tropical scented massages, hydrating and acne fighting facials, mani/pedis and treatments to share with mom and dad.
