Campsite online booking platform Campsy has released a detailed study comparing the price of accommodation in over 200 cities and regions. The Index includes 1 to 5 star hotels, hostels, campsites, and peer-to-peer (P2P) accommodation services. Campsy said it undertook the research in order to better understand the overall landscape of the hospitality industry, as well as offer travelers an in-depth view of which cities or regions may best suit their budget.
With P2P rental services and younger specialist platforms such as Campsy offering accommodation options, the research aims to shed some light on the rapidly changing marketplace, Campsy said.
