The Strand, Turks and Caicos, a luxury resort community located on 2,230 feet of oceanfront in Providenciales, is now accepting reservations ahead of its opening on November 23, 2024. Upon completion, The Strand, part of The Leading Hotels of the World, will offer a variety of accommodations, including single-bedroom Suites, multi-bedroom Villas and Private Residences. Designed in collaboration with RAD Architecture and Modus Operandi, each of these accommodations will have floor-to-ceiling glass doors, terraces, hand-crafted infinity pools, ocean views and more.
The Club at The Strand offers a la carte services, including butlers, private chefs, special culinary events and a range of outdoor adventures, such as water sports, racquet sports, an accessible beach and more. Amenities will include a restaurant and beach club, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a Maestro in Residence program, a kids’ club and a marina, which offers guests access to a Boston Whaler with a private captain.
Opening this fall, The DelMar restaurant and bar will have an outdoor beachfront patio with cabana seating and a kitchen built into the hillside with a living green roof. The adjoining waterfront bar will offer a casual menu and specialty cocktails throughout the day.
Pretty cool: The Strand is set to become one of the most sustainable resorts in the Caribbean with solar integration from Renu Energy TCI providing more than 75 percent of the community’s power. The Strand is also designed as the first designated “Pollinator Sanctuary” in the Caribbean in partnership with Denver-based Butterfly Pavilion.
Remote yet easily accessible, The Strand is located near the Leeward Highway, the main east-west thoroughfare through the island. Cooper Jack Bay is 10 minutes from the Providenciales International Airport and 15 minutes to the Grace Bay Beach and shopping area.
