Tafer Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of its hospitality management services. This milestone is marked by the signing and forthcoming assumption of management for three properties: Palmar Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya by Tafer in Mexico, as well as Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Miches and Kairi Club Miches in the Dominican Republic. Tafer’s management services and new hotel deals represent its expansion strategy, centered on diversifying its portfolio in partnership with independent developers and hotels, and building its presence in top performing markets, including this latest expansion in the Caribbean.
On November 1, 2024, following extensive renovation, Tafer will reopen Palmar Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya by Tafer, formerly Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun, as an all-inclusive retreat in Mexico’s Quintana Roo. Under Tafer’s management, the resort will cater for multi-generational guests with spacious multi-bedroom suites, a spa, six pools, eight bars and eight restaurants—one of which will be helmed by Michelin-starred Chef Jonatán Gómez Luna.
Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Miches by Tafer in the Dominican Republic, a new-build hotel opening in late 2026, will be located amid palm groves and the shores of the Playa Esmeralda Beach in Samaná Bay. This property represents the expansion of Tafer and its Garza Blanca Resort & Spa brand beyond Mexico, bringing its signature design, gourmet all-inclusive cuisine and experiences for travelers of all ages to the Caribbean.
Kairi Club Miches by Tafer, a new adults-only concept, will also debut in late 2026 in the Dominican Republic. Situated in the coastal town of Miches along the Playa Esmeralda Beach, the all-inclusive resort will be within easy reach of Punta Cana International Airport.
