Making its debut in Spain, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort. The resort is located on Tenerife’s southern coast, between the mountains and the Atlantic. The property is just a 15-minute drive from Tenerife South International Airport, with direct access to the seven-mile coastline promenade that connects the village of La Caleta to the town of Los Cristianos.
Designed by architect Melvin Villarroel, the resort offers 284 rooms, including 20 suites. Suite guests enjoy VIP à la carte breakfasts and a selection of complimentary delights by the pool at the La Caleta lounge throughout the day. The property also offers sunbathing spaces around the three newly refurbished heated swimming pools, the largest with salt water and one exclusively for adults.
The hotel additionally offer four restaurants, helmed by Olivier da Costa: Seen Beach Club by Olivier, serving seafood, meats and exotic cocktails in a vibrant seafront setting; Yakuza by Olivier, which specializes in Japanese and fusion cuisine; and Guilty by Olivier, offering pizza, pasta and hamburgers from lunch to dinner. The fourth restaurant, Gusto, serves breakfast and a nightly buffet showcasing international cuisine.
There are four bars around the property, as well. Alma Cocktail Bar has a selection of Spanish wines and cocktails, to be enjoyed indoors and al fresco; at El Clásico Sports Bar, live games are enjoyed with casual drinks and bites; the Guilty pool bar offers a menu of milkshakes, fruit smoothies, light bites and cocktails; and Suite & Tea offers afternoon tea paired with snacks.
The resort’s Anantara Spa is slated to be launched in March. It will comprise nearly 13,000 square feet of outdoor and indoor facilities, 10 treatment rooms, a vitality indoor pool, sauna, steam bath and an ice igloo. Additionally, guests can head to Tivoli Shape, with its professional World Padel Tour courts and Technogym equipment for efficient workouts.
