The Tryall Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica has opened its new luxury Beach Club. The $9.2 million project transformed the property’s secluded beachfront into a destination for guests and villa owners to relax, dine and socialize.
The Beach Club has an expanded private beach, a new infinity pool and lounge area, a Beach Bar & Grill, including a wood-fired pizza oven operated by an authentic pizzaiolo from Italy, a Beach Boutique, a Tour Desk and new venues for oceanfront weddings and private gatherings.
At the center of the terrace sits the 4,000-plus-square-foot infinity pool outfitted with jade mosaic tiles to look as if the pool is an extension of the ocean. Seafoam green-cushioned chaise lounges and pink and white umbrellas surround the pool. At the beach, guests can relax in the plush chaise lounges, play in the sand or explore the waterfront from Hobie Cats catamarans, stand-up paddle boards, parasails, kayaks and inflatable Banana Boats.
The Club’s new Beach Boutique and Tour Desk sit adjacent to the Family Pool. The Beach Boutique offers a selection of resort wear, gifts and treats available for purchase, while the Tour Desk provides curated waterfront and land adventures for guests to book. The Activities Lawn and Sand Volleyball Court sit at the opposite end of the pool deck.
Located above the beach and facing the sea, the Beach Bar & Grill serves small bites and creative cocktails. Leading the culinary team at the Beach Bar & Grill is an authentic pizzaiolo from Italy, Marco Borgiani. In addition to the grill, guests can have the pizzas delivered to their villa via a new pizza delivery service.
The Beach Club also introduced new venues for oceanfront weddings and gatherings at The Tryall Club. New venues include the East Event Lawn and West Event Lawn, along with the private beach.
The current refurbishment follows close behind the renovation of The Tryall Club’s championship golf course, which was completed in 2019. There is much more ahead for the current project: Summer 2020 will see creation of a new Beach Restaurant & Bar located along the waterfront just east of the Beach Club, followed by updates and improvements to members spaces and staff areas within the historic Great House, which dates from 1834.
