Palladium Hotel Group’s TRS Hotels, with properties in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Spain, has obtained the “Queer Destinations Committed” distinction at a global level. The group’s Bless Collection Hotels brand, with properties in Madrid and Ibiza, has also received this distinction.
“Queer Destinations Committed” is a distinction recognized by the International LGBTQ+ Tourism Association (IGLTA), and entails a commitment to preparation and training by companies and destinations in the tourism sector. It is a seal of quality for those seeking an experience free of discrimination.
TRS Yucatán Hotel and TRS Coral Hotel, both located in Mexico, were the first two resorts operated by Palladium Hotel Group to achieve the certification and now joined by TRS Turquesa Hotel and TRS Cap Cana Waterfront & Marina Hotel, which become the first resorts in the Dominican Republic to achieve the “Queer Destinations Committed” recognition, as well as TRS Ibiza Hotel, to complete the brand’s portfolio.
As well, the group’s Bless Collection Hotels brand has also been distinguished with the “Queer Destinations Committed” certificate. Only 10 hotels in Spain have this distinction and now include Bless Hotel Madrid and Bless Hotel Ibiza. The awareness and training process for Palladium Hotel Group employees has been carried out through the “Hospitality Meets Diversity” educational program, which aims to create a safe environment for training about the LGBTQ+ community, their consumption habits and how to create a unique experience, adjusted to their expectations as travelers.
