The 2025 edition of Velas Resorts’ “Wellnessing Getaway” series will take place June 8–15, with Grand Velas properties in Riviera Maya, Riviera Nayarit and Los Cabos hosting retreats that blend high-performance fitness, holistic health, ancestral healing techniques and more. Building on the success of last year’s post-pandemic return, this year’s “Wellnessing Getaways” introduce new instructors, practices such as biohacking and adaptogenic therapy, and refreshed programming that brings nature, nourishment and wellness into balance.
From June 8 to 12, Grand Velas Riviera Maya will team up with Fit By You, led by Ale Rubio, a trainer with over 11 years of experience in HIIT and functional training. Other instructors include certified strength coach Gabriela Valdés, who will lead sessions focused on physical resilience and cognitive vitality; cycling instructor Adriana Morfín; Perla Martínez, a barre and sculpt expert with a background in classical ballet; Carolina Martínez, who will lead targeted bounce and functional training classes; and Karen Molina, who combines her Power Pilates expertise with nutrition coaching for a holistic approach to women’s health. Guests can also participate in vinyasa yoga with Marcela Villarreal and educational workshops by biohacking specialist Dr. Patricio Ochoa. With non-alcoholic wellness culture and mindful mixology on the rise, mocktail sessions will be led by Christine Wayne of On the Mocks.

This year’s “Wellnessing Getaway” offerings at Grand Velas Boutique Los Cabos (June 11–15) are rooted in biohacking, herbal medicine and intentional movement. Guests can participate in an incense workshop led by artisanal incense brand Alhumo Sacred Smokes. Certified health coach Natalia Naila leads two transformational classes: “Biohacking Your Beauty,” a deep dive into skin health and inner radiance; and “How to Anti-Age and Reverse Your Biological Age,” which offers science-backed, actionable strategies to improve cellular health. Camille Wilson, founder of The Cocktail Snob, will host a superfoods mocktail workshop, offering guests a refreshing take on wellness-inspired, zero-proof drinks. Other instructors include Dallas-based Francesca Maietta, whose dynamic practice integrates resistance training to build strength, flexibility and endurance; Sivan Tayer, a certified coach and Pilates educator; Magaly Guerra Meyer, creator of the “Shake & Sculpt” method, who will lead her signature dance fitness classes; and Ariana Medizade, who will lead workshops designed to support guests’ sleep, digestion, mood and stress resilience through plant-based solutions. The lineup also includes a Facial Skin Care Workshop by Natura Bissé, a cacao ceremony, sound healing and a grounding Qigong class.
The Grand Velas Los Cabos getaway (June 11–15) focuses on endurance, restoration and self-mastery. Strength and nutrition coach Erika Holguin will lead full-body sculpt classes along with a healthy cooking workshop. Wilson will offer a beauty-boosting mocktail workshop, sharing her zero-proof recipes at sister Los Cabos property, while Guerra Meyer offers a toning class and her signature “Shake & Sculpt” class in a family-friendly format. Additionally, Naila will lead a workshop titled “Biohacking Your Beauty: Unlock Radiant Skin from the Inside Out.” Guests can also participate in a Pilates session led by Olivia Laurenzana, as well as cycling classes, ice bath therapy, sound healing under the stars and a Herbal Essential Oils Workshop by Natura Bissé. They can enjoy treatments at the SE Spa and nourishing, health-forward meals.

Returning to the lineup at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit (June 11–14) is Canadian fitness coach Emma Troupe, whose holistic approach to movement focuses on strength and functionality through a series of HIIT-based and nutrition workshops. The resort will also host Seattle-based yoga instructor Robin Martin, who will lead alignment-driven practices that encourage both emotional and physical release; Victoria Gibbs, a wellness coach who will lead Pilates and guided meditation sessions; and Mexico City-based cycling instructor Steph Currie, who brings high-energy rides that blend motivational coaching with rhythmic beats. Additionally, Alhumo Sacred Smokes enhances the guest experience with a customized gift for guests. Guests can also participate in evening cacao ceremonies and ocean-view yoga sessions. They can enjoy nutrient-rich meals, spa access and curated recovery sessions.
All “Wellness Getaway” activities are included in the nightly all-inclusive rate of each hotel.
