The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman’s Reef is now officially open. The opening signals the completion of a $425 million rebuild project at Frenchman’s Reef, which debuted its sister resort, Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort at Frenchman’s Reef, Autograph Collection in May.
Perched on an elevated peninsula adjacent to Morningstar Beach, The Westin Beach Resort & Spa has 392 rooms, including 28 suites. A selection of Bi-Level Oceanview Suites with upstairs lofts and Presidential Suites offer unique spaces for families and guests. The resort’s F&B options include Luna Mar, a Mediterranean restaurant with a full-service bar; Sugarfin, with an indoor bar and outdoor terrace; the Edge Bar; the family-friendly Shorebird serving juice and breakfast; and Frenchman’s Roast, a one-stop shop for daily island essentials including coffee, juice, grab-and-go eats, beach gear and sundries.
The resort offers three ocean-view pools and a beach with aquatic programming with non-motorized water sports by Dockside Watersports, including a fleet of Hobie Cats, kayaks, standup paddle boards, beach toys and snorkel gear. A fleet of private vessels is available to charter for day and night excursions around the surrounding islands, accessible at Frenchman’s Reef’s private dock. With multiple boats available to accommodate groups of all sizes, an array of adventures await, including the Flying Frenchman, a private luxury catamaran with a capacity of up to 125 persons for daytime snorkel trips, sunset cruises and more. Guests can also head to the resort’s pickleball courts to enjoy the game with a scenic backdrop.
The Heavenly Spa by Westin houses 13 treatment rooms and a menu of health and wellness treatments, plus full salon services. Guests will have access to the WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio. They can avail of the brand’s WestinWORKOUT gear-lending program. The new resort embraces the brand’s RunWESTIN program. Led by an on-property Run Concierge, the resort will offer a variety of run- and walk-related programs to encourage travelers to keep their wellness routine while on the road.
The Westin Beach Resort & Spa also offers retail shopping outlets as well as 72,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces.Guests can enjoy most of the amenities available at its sister resort, Morningstar Buoy Haus Beach Resort, Autograph Collection. The resort offers 94 guestrooms, including two suites, four oceanfront bars and restaurants, an infinity-edge oceanfront pool with a swim-up bar, a health club, and 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Buoy Haus also offers Palm Court, a social space complete with a hammock court, cozy seating areas, Caribbean-style F&B huts, games, and more.
