The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa has started a $10 million renovation project to increase the resort’s existing 416 guestrooms to 419, including 32 suites. The project is scheduled for completion in spring 2023. The resort remains open during the renovation, allowing guests to enjoy all of the resort’s amenities.
The South Carolina resort located on Hilton Head Island’s white sand beaches has tapped Ellis Adams Design to transform each of its rooms and suites into an extension of the island’s natural landscape. The resort’s refreshed accommodations, inspired by the wispy sea oats and sweetgrass of Hilton Head Island, will encourage rejuvenation and relaxation by balancing wellness and casual adventure. The light and airy color palette has been inspired by the island’s sandy shores and marshlands, deep green foliage and skies awash in blue, reflecting in each room’s design, which is rich, natural and warm.
The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa offers eight different room types along with seven suite options for guests to choose from, all featuring spacious balconies. Renovated suites will include the Resort and Carolina King suites, besides the Atlantic, Vice Presidential and Presidential suites, with additional plans to unveil two new specialty suites ideal for families and group trips in the near future.
