Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla has announced new happenings onsite this winter and festive season. The hotel has appointed Daniel Franco as its new executive chef. Franco brings more than 14 years of experience in luxury hospitality, having previously worked at Hyatt Ziva Cancun, One & Only Palmilla Resort in Baja, Maroma, A Belmond Hotel in the Riviera Maya and Palmaïa, The House of AïA in Playa del Carmen.
Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla is offering new packages, which provide ideal ways for friends and families to travel together and escape the cold. The “Explore the Neighborhood” package offers access to various attractions that Cancun has to offer, including the adjacent “El Sol de Cancun” Ferris wheel, nearby Tequila Museum, chocolate factory and Ripley’s Mirror Maze. The package also includes perks at Casino Macao, including a 10 percent discount on food and drinks, and a welcome drink.
Guests availing of the “Save Water Drink Cocktails” package can enjoy the hotel’s Artisanal Canopy Breakfast and dinner at Azulinda Café & Bar, alongside a Canopy Open Bar from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Wander Rooftop.
This New Year’s Eve, Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla will welcome guests to Wander Rooftop for a White Party-themed celebration. Guests and locals can enjoy a range of food and beverage offerings, including an open bar, a raw bar with accouterments, a raclette station pairing the cheese with an array of meats, dessert station and candy bar. In New Year’s tradition, a grape tree will also be on display to help celebrate the final countdown.
There will also be a DJ and guests can enjoy live events throughout the night. They can also book a VIP table on Wander Rooftop’s Panoramic Corner with the purchase of two or more bottles of alcohol from its special menu.
