Just 15 minutes from Grantley Adams International Airport, Wyndham Grand Barbados, Sam Lord’s Castle All-Inclusive Resort has unveiled new experiences for 2025.
Located on the southeast coast of Barbados, the resort is surrounded by tropical gardens and ocean views. As one of the newest hotels in the destination, this 422-key all-inclusive resort is introducing dining options, excursions and services that celebrate the island’s culture.
The resort has introduced the “The Oistins Experience: A Celebration of Barbadian Culture,” which guests can enjoy every Tuesday at 6 p.m. The experience showcases jewelry handcrafted by skilled local artisans alongside Bajan specialties such as BBQ ribs, baked macaroni pie and jam puffs, accompanied by entertainment, including live music, fire breathers and stilt walkers.
For guests wanting to extend the Oistins vibe, the resort’s complimentary shuttle runs to Oistins Bay Gardens on Fridays, where they can enjoy live music, dancing, food trucks and Barbados’s traditional fish fry.
In addition to The Oistins Experience, the resort is introducing dining options designed to offer a range of tastes that showcase local Bajan cuisine and international dishes. Highlights include:
- A revamped menu at Sam Lord’s Grill, serving fresh, locally sourced meals
- Plated brunch at Castle View restaurant, available daily from 9–11:45 a.m.
- Family dining at Castle View restaurant until 7:30 p.m., following which it transforms into an adults-only venue
- Korean bowls at the food truck, Styr Crazy, available daily from 12–3 p.m.
Other new experiences coming to the resort include a beach barbecue experience under the stars; tapas, rum and hookah rooftop at Sam Lord’s Castle View restaurant; and a swim-up bar located next to Sam Lord’s Grill.
Wyndham Grand Barbados provides complimentary shuttle services to some of the island’s must-see locations, including Carlisle Bay, Bridgetown and Oistins Fish Market.
