With new defining technology, Hilton Hotels and AtmosAir have partnered together, bringing the “purest” fitness center into the guest room. Called Five Feet to Fitness, this new room type includes more than 11 pieces of fitness equipment and accessories that make it easier for travelers to work out privately in their own guest rooms. Hilton has ripped out carpet and put down performance flooring that you would find in fitness centers. In order to maximize the hotel guest’s workout and breathing space, Hilton Hotels have also included AtmosAir filters in these new workout-friendly rooms to help purify the air.
Utilizing groundbreaking Bi-Polar Ionization technology, AtmosAir makes it possible for consumers to refresh their indoors with the same clean, pure air found only at the highest mountain elevations. The system uses sustainable tubes that distribute negative and positive ions that then travel into our breathing space to break down allergens, bacteria and cancer-causing gaseous elements. By including the AtmosAir filters in their hotel rooms, Hilton is insuring that the air their guests breathe, while working out and throughout their stay, is as clean and safe as possible.
The US Environmental Protection Agency named indoor air quality as one of the top five health threats in the U.S., due to people spending upwards of 90 percent of their time indoors. As buildings, such as these Hilton properties, become more energy efficient, they’re less likely to accumulate unsafe levels of particles, bacteria, mold spores and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) — and more likely to circulate fresh, clean air. These qualities of air control and circulation are critical to Hilton Hotels being able to include fitness centers in the same space where their guests will be sleeping, eating and living their everyday lives.
In addition to Hilton Hotels, AtmosAir’s hotels and casino projects include Hyatt, The Ritz, The Cosmopolitan, Coconut Creek, SugarHouse Casino, and more.
