Luxury tour operator Abercrombie & Kent has announced that Keith Baron will become president of Abercrombie & Kent USA, succeeding Phil Otterson, who will take on a new role as chairman of the board of Abercrombie & Kent USA.
Baron and Otterson will assume their new roles when the transition is complete on April 1, 2017.
Baron’s experience includes more than 30 years in travel and tourism, said Abercrombie & Kent Group Founder, Chairman and CEO Geoffrey Kent. Previously, he spent five years as A&K’s senior vice president, strategic operations. Baron will also become a member of A&K's Group Management Board when he takes on his new role.
Phil Otterson has served as president of Abercrombie & Kent USA since January of 2012.
“Phil led A&K USA through a period of exceptional growth, innovation and financial success,” said Kent. “Among many achievements, he and his team developed new products that broadened A&K’s market, from Luxury Expedition Cruising to Private Jet Journeys and Luxury Tailor Made offerings, and introduced Wings Over the World and Connections Boutique Journeys.”
