Cruise and Maritime Voyages announced the expansion of its sales team with the appointment of Roz Young to the newly created role of business development manager for Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah.
In a written statement John Dennis, vice president, sales and marketing for Cruise and Maritime Voyages USA said that the new post and Young’s appointment would enhance the brand’s efforts in the region as it introduces new programs, such as its new soft expedition “Treasures of the Sea of Cortez” itinerary, which will launch in January 2020 as the first cruise sailing roundtrip from Rocky Point just outside of Arizona.
Young began her travel career in 1998. She has held numerous sales, marketing and business development roles for brands such as Norwegian Cruise Line, Booking.com and Enterprise. Cruise and Maritime Voyages also said that Young has an extensive network of travel advisor contacts, and that she has experience development connections with suppliers; organizing and participating in trade shows; and creating travel advisor programs such as trainings and webinars.
