This year’s FCCA Cruise Conference & Trade Show is taking place in Mérida, Mexico, from October 23 to October 27. It is the largest cruise conference and trade show in the Caribbean and Latin America and this year, attendees will have the opportunity to interact directly with cruise line decision makers, including presidents and CEOs.
The feature Member Line presidents, chairmen and CEOs will be at the conference to provide one-on-one meetings, workshops, social functions, a trade show and provide insight on developing business and relationships with the industry’s most influential players.
Cruise executives confirmed to be on hand to interact with attendees and exhibitors include Orlando Ashford, President of Holland America Line who will deliver the keynote address at the Conference’s opening ceremony; Michael Bayley, President & CEO, Royal Caribbean International; Frank Del Rio, President & CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd.; Arnold Donald, President & CEO, Carnival Corporation & plc; Christine Duffy, President, Carnival Cruise Line; and Richard Sasso, Chairman, MSC Cruises (USA) Inc.
These players plan to participate in functions like special Trade Show viewings and the Conference’s schedule of opportunities to develop business and mutual understanding, such as private meetings with Ministers of Tourism to impromptu meetings with stakeholders, mixers with attendees and exhibitors and nightly networking events. A panel comprised of these key cruise line officials will also participate in a roundtable discussion as part of the Conference’s workshops.
In addition, key cruise executives from shore operations, port operations and development, itinerary planning and purchasing and supply chain will also attend special Trade Show viewings and networking events, lead workshops focused on understanding the cruise tourism business and host one-on-one meetings pre-selected by attendees to provide personalized input.
