Dream Vacations Adds Role for Home-Based Travel Agent Engagement

Dream Vacations/CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. have announced a new leadership position that entirely focuses on the overall engagement of its home-based travel agents. Air Force veteran Dustin Jones has been appointed to the new role, the vice president of engagement.

Jones is responsible for the overall support provided to Dream Vacations and CruiseOne franchisees, as well as independent vacation specialists with Cruises Inc. This includes all agent-facing events, training programs and support services. He will also oversee the engagement strategy, which will translate into continued growth and satisfaction of the network.

Jones began his career at Dream Vacations/CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. in 2011 as a training specialist and worked his way up in the organization to director of training and support services. In 2015, he transferred to parent company World Travel Holdings’ direct-to-consumer division and led his team in the training of new agents while providing ongoing development opportunities.

Providing a blend of in-person and virtual trainings, agents have multiple opportunities throughout the year to interact with each other and the corporate headquarters team, whether they are sharing best practices, developing new skills or learning the latest industry trends.

Dream Vacations is also in the midst of a new recruitment drive. Dubbed #Partnership Goals, the initiative offers experienced travel agents who join the organization through June 30 the opportunity to attend Dream Vacations’ sold-out 2018 Conference onboard the Norwegian Bliss free of charge.
