One of the goals of the ID Travel Group Foundation for Better Living is to provide educational opportunities in Caribbean countries where the ID Travel Group operates. In furtherance of this goal, ID Travel Group has announced that the third recipient of the ID Travel Group Bonham-Carter Graduate Scholarship at Oxford University is Rowana-Kay Campbell.
Campbell is a lawyer from Jamaica who is pursuing a Bachelor of Civil Law (Master of Laws) degree at Oxford. She graduated with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies-Mona Law School and is a member of the bar in both Jamaica and St. Lucia. Campbell, according to ID Travel Group, is passionate about international law, trade law and taxation because of their effect on sustainable economic development. She intends to use her knowledge and skills as an attorney to help others and to create a better world for present and future generations.
The ID Travel Group Foundation Bonham-Carter Graduate Scholarship covers course fees and a grant for living costs for full-time students. The scholarship is jointly funded by Oxford University and Maurice Bonham-Carter, a Christ Church alumnus. Bonham-Carter is president of ID Travel Group, LLC and has been active for many years in the Caribbean. He established this scholarship to give back to select Caribbean countries by helping to broaden the experiences and further the education of exceptional students.
