St. Lucian-American travel professional Kelly Fontenelle-Clarke has been appointed as the U.S. sales and marketing representative of Bay Gardens Resorts in St. Lucia.
Based in Atlanta, Fontenelle-Clarke has worked in marketing for over two dozen years. These include working for St. Lucia with the Saint Lucia Tourist Board and the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.
Fontenelle-Clark was instrumental in the St. Lucia Expert Loyalty Program, which reached more than 20,000 agents over five years. She developed the Romance Specialist Program, which helped spike St. Lucia's reputation as a top romance destination. She also led integrated marketing campaigns for the island and guided the United States national public relations program.
Sanovnik Destang, Executive Director of Bay Gardens Resorts, says Fontenelle-Clarke will take the company to new heights.
"As Kelly grows our influence among U.S. tour operators, travel agents and meeting planners, we expect to meet and surpass our sales goals in the years ahead," Destang said in a written statement.
Fontenelle-Clarke holds master's degree in marketing, a bachelor's in hospitality management, a certificate in tourism planning and a certificate in marketing strategy.
