Ensemble Travel Group has announced a new partnership with New Zealand travel agency group World Travellers. Led by the Ensemble Asia Pacific management team, the partnership leverages the power of Ensemble’s amenity program and vacation portfolio as well as special benefits and savings for 35 of World Travellers’ agencies in New Zealand.
David Harris, newly appointed CEO of Ensemble Travel Group, adds that both companies will now benefit from their existing relationships with suppliers across the globe, as well as a suite of technology, marketing and luxury products.
At the same time, Ensemble has also announced the promotion of Katy Muyt to the position of general manager for Ensemble Travel Group in Australia/New Zealand. Muyt had previously been senior director of sales and supplier relations for the region since 2016. Muyt will focus her immediate efforts on enhancements to the Ensemble agent portal, providing members with better access to the luxury hotel and resort program, preferred suppliers, on-location specialists and digital marketing tools, along with the upcoming release of the Australian version of Extraordinary Experiences, the company’s luxury travel magazine.
Established in 1968, Ensemble Travel Group is a member-owned organization of approximately 850 independent travel agencies in the U.S. and Canada, with new expanded international presence in Australia/New Zealand. The travel company reports has achieved a 45+-year record of members' profits and delivering high-volume sales to its preferred suppliers. in the near future, Ensemble Travel is also putting emphasis on plans to invest in data insights, marketing, product and training.
