Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa has appointed Michael Nenner to oversee staff and resort operations.
Previously, Nenner served as Hotel Manager at three Four Seasons properties in Houston, Philadelphia and St. Louis. Prior to his work with the leading hotel brand, he served as Director of Rooms at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago.
His new tenure at the Montauk resort will begin with supervising the next phase of the resort’s multi-year renovation, with the May 1 launch of five new food and beverage outlets managed in partnership with LDV Hospitality including Scarpetta Beach, Corso Coffee, The Regent Cocktail Club, Tillie’s, and The Beach Club at Gurney’s, a refresh of the Seawater Spa by WTS International, and the refurbishment of the property’s common spaces and banquet event spaces.
