Questex Travel Group Announces 2018 Dates for Travel Industry Exchange

Questex Travel Group, publisher of Travel Agent and Luxury Travel Advisor magazines, announced that the 2018 Travel Industry Exchange will take place at the Hilton West Palm Beach on October 9-11, 2018 in West Palm Beach, FA.

After a phenomenal event this past October, suppliers and agents alike have been clamoring to receive the new dates and location for the next specialization event.

Suppliers from all sectors of travel are encouraged to participate in order to benefit from the multiple networking opportunities including up to 35 prescheduled, one-to-one appointments, inclusion on a session panel, and multiple meals and receptions, offering a total of nine hours of direct facetime with participating travel agents.

Agents who attend will be fully hosted by Questex and will include roundtrip air, accommodations at the Hilton West Palm Beach, transfers and event meals. Those interested in attending will be asked to complete a thorough application that will be reviewed by the attendee acquisition committee to ensure eligibility. Organizers received nearly 700 applications for the limited hosted positions at the 2017 event and expect even greater interest in 2018.

Suppliers who attended were extremely satisfied with the quality of pre-approved agents in attendance as well as the types of networking activities and functions.

“The quality of agents who attended was excellent,” said Liana Pyne, destination sales coordinator for the Florida Keys & Key West. “I developed great relationships with the agents and had several hot leads which will most likely convert to bookings.”

“Travel Industry Exchange did such a great job at qualifying the travel agents that attend the show,” said Gregory Schwab, president and CEO, SunLux Collection. “I attend six to eight major travel industry shows each year and this event was the one that provided me the opportunity to meet new clients.”

“The format gave us the opportunity to meet new agents and the social aspect was really fun and beneficial– offering us the ability to each get to know the agents better,” said Kristen Sanchez, business development director, Carnival Cruise Line.

Travel Industry Exchange brings travel professionals together with global suppliers, including destinations, hoteliers, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation providers, and technology companies. The event includes up to 35 one-to-one meetings, comprehensive education, and networking events and receptions. For more information visit travelindustryexchange.com.
