Signature Travel Network has announced the launch of a new Luxury Sales Development program, as well as a change to the leadership of its Hotel & Resort Program. The new luxury sales program, spearheaded by Signature Executive Vice President Ignacio Maza, will aim to expand the network’s luxury business. Richard Lebowitz has been named the hotel program’s new leader.
“Luxury travel continues to be our fastest growing business segment,” said Alex Sharpe, Signature’s president and CEO, in a written release. “I also think that luxury travel is the area where our members can deliver the greatest value and the highest level of customer satisfaction. With Ignacio’s leadership, Signature will create the training programs, marketing, communications, and events that will accelerate our growth, help us get to the next level in the luxury travel space, and strengthen our base of luxury travel consultants.”
In other executive updates, Signature has announced that Richard Lebowitz will serve as the new senior vice president for the organization’s Hotel & Resort Program.
Lebowitz, a distinguished hotel industry professional with over 30 years of experience, will be based in Signature’s New York office, and will be a part of the company’s senior management team, reporting to Alex Sharpe.
"In my past roles with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, I was privileged to develop relationships with Signature members and the Signature management team,” Lebowitz said in a written statement. “I have long respected Signature's commitment to strong partnerships and I am excited to help the network continue to grow."
Lebowitz will join Signature on Monday, January 15.
