Over the past year, Travel Edge’s Corporate division – headed by Executive Vice President Eric Holenka – has developed through the expansion of its client services team; upgrades to its technology platforms; admission into the Radius Travel consortium; and the addition of a big client—an international beverage and events company with a yearly spend on corporate travel of over $10 million.
Travel Edge’s Corporate division, a global travel management company with boutique-style client service, took part in a competitive bid against other major North American travel management companies to add the client to its expanding portfolio.
Travel Edge Corporate says the structure of the company offers clients a competitive advantage without sacrificing service levels when compared to larger travel management companies. It offers personalized service (supporting the growing trend of Bleisure travel – where travelers extend their business trips to spend leisure time in destination) and draws on its technology and preferred partners.
Travel Edge is a $750 million, privately held company specializing in Leisure, Corporate & Events, and Tours travel. Its Corporate & Events division has four offices and 100 corporate travel and event planners specializing in tailored and full-service travel management solutions.
In other Travel Edge news, the company recently hired Michael Johnson as its executive vice president. His role is extending the agency's lead in luxury travel.
