Eager to familiarize yourself with destinations in North Africa and the Middle East? A new set of fam trips are giving travel agents the opportunity to explore Tunisia and Israel.
Tour Specialists Inc. recently announced a seven-day land only fam trip to Tunisia. On the trip, agents will explore Tunis, Bardo, Carthage, Sidi Bou Said, Hammamet, Nabeul, Kerkouane, Sousse, and Dougga. Highlights include visiting ancient ruins; Dougga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; and indulging in authentic Tunisian cuisine.
Departure dates are available now on a daily basis. Rates start at $1,100 per travel agent and $1,200 per companion and include: accommodations at 4-star hotels, daily breakfast, four lunches, six dinners, an English speaking guide, transfers and entrance fees to sites and museums. For an additional $200 per person, agents can opt to upgrade their accommodations to the 5-star Raddison Blu Resort Thalasso Hotel in Hammamet for the duration of the trip.
For agents looking to educate themselves on the history of Jerusalem and its surrounding areas, Tour Specialists Inc. also launched an eight-day fam trip to Israel. The trip starts in Tel Aviv and makes stops at Mt. Zion for the tomb of King David, Mt. Herzl and Yad Vashem to pay respects to Holocaust victims and an optional Massada and Dead Sea tour.
The tour departs each Monday with rates starting at $1,350 for travel agents, $1,450 for companions and $350 for single supplements. The package includes all transfers, sightseeing by motor coach, breakfast and dinner daily, all 4-star hotels, and all taxes and service charges.
