Eurobound Debuts Alpine Lake Family Adventure

Eurobound has launched a new 12-day itinerary for families. The trip explores Switzerland’s lakeside towns and alpine slopes alongside Italy’s cities. The new itinerary showcases two different countries with convenient connections linked by two panoramic trains.

The Eurobound itinerary begins in Zurich with an overnight stay and ends with two nights in Rome. Three nights are spent in the alpine village of Grindelwald, with two nights in Lucerne. Crossing into Italy, three nights are spent in Como before concluding in Rome.

The itinerary includes panoramic train rides with a six-day first class Swiss Travel Rail Pass, funicular and cable car rides, besides hiking and lake cruises. Also available are two self-guided mountain adventures, a catamaran and funicular excursion to Mt. Burgenstock, a chocolate-making workshop, and the Gotthard Panorama Express journey from Lucerne to Lugano.

From Lugano, a private transfer whisks Eurobound guests to Lake Como for three nights. Here, a private, half-day boat tour to Bellagio and the Villa Melzi Gardens is included, together with a day at leisure.

Priced at $9,170 per person, based on four people, the package includes two-room accommodations in centrally located four- and five-star hotels with breakfast, first class rail within Italy, and private transfers. Select lunch and dinner reservations, along with suggested hikes around Lucerne, and detailed train information are also available.
