Eurobound Launches Ireland Self-Drive Package

Eurobound has rolled out a new self-drive vacation package to Ireland for independent travelers. The 10-day package includes five-star accommodations with breakfast, a rental car with automatic transmission for eight nights, curated activities and entrance fees.

The package incorporates two nights in Kilkenny, three nights each in Killarney and in Galway, and a final overnight in Dublin. In Kilkenny and Galway, Eurobound guests will stay in estate hotels with expansive grounds, while in Killarney a modern hotel resort, set on the region’s largest lake, is home for three nights.

Travelers can also expect two private tours, a sheepdog demonstration, a distillery visit, tickets to Blarney Castle, entrance fees to the Cliffs of Moher and to Kylemore Abbey, plus a private hotel-to-airport transfer on the last day, all included with the package. In Killarney a private, five-hour adventure tour by horse-drawn cart and open-top boat explores the Gap of Dunloe, a rugged glacial valley set between Ireland’s highest mountains. In Galway, a private food walking tour visits Galway Market and local eating establishments, with food and drink tastings included.

“We have seen a lot of interest in Ireland. This package is specifically designed for travelers who want the essential elements provided so that they can enjoy the trip on their own,” says Brigitte Armand, Eurobound president. Now in its 26th year, the company provides tailored packages and itineraries for independent travelers and small groups to Europe and beyond, sold exclusively through travel advisors.

Prices for the 10-day package is $5,130 per person, based on double occupancy.
