Global adventure operator Explore Worldwide has announced the addition of "Highlights of Kenya" to its tour offerings, which includes cultural discovery, walking, cycling and family vacations to over 100 countries around the world. After a hiatus of offering tours in Kenya, the new eight-day tour combines the Maasai Mara and its vast grasslands, Lake Nakuru National Park and the impressive Aberdare Mountains.
Throughout the tour, guests will travel in 4x4 Land Cruiser safari vehicles with guaranteed window seats for everyone, ensuring optimal game-viewing. The seven-night trip includes seven nights’ accommodation, local transport and the services of an expert tour leader throughout; flights are excluded.
Other tours launching in 2024 include:
- Jordan and Egypt—Petra to the Pyramids: This 15-day, action-packed journey across Jordan and Egypt visits some of the world's most significant archeological sites, including the Pyramids and Great Sphinx of Giza, as well as the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. The itinerary also stops at the Dead Sea, the Nile River and Sinai Peninsula.
- India Tiger Safari: This 15-day itinerary takes animal lovers deep into the central heartland of India in search of the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. Sites include the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Kanha National Park and Panna, Sariska and Chambal.
- China Highlights: This 10-day trip to China takes travelers through an interesting mixture of modern life and ancient traditions including a visit to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huangdi, the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda as well as Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.
- Walk the Great Wall of China: On this 10-day walking tour, vacationers can expect to explore some of the most interesting and spectacular sections of China’s iconic Great Wall as well as rural China. The itinerary also includes visits to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City in the heart of Beijing, a boat trip in Panjiakou where the Wall crosses the water and the stunning Imperial Tomb Complex of the Qing Dynasty.
