The world’s tallest observation wheel, the High Roller at The LINQ Promenade, has introduced a new, booze-infused selection of chocolate pieces for its Chocolate Tasting Experience. Crafted by Ethel M Chocolates, these bonbons contain crème fillings spiked with flavored liqueurs.
Guests can try four different options, along with a glass of wine, while enjoying views of Las Vegas from 550 feet in the air. During the 30-minute rotation in the glass-enclosed, climate-controlled cabin, an Ethel M chocolatier ambassador discusses the origins of chocolate and how the pieces were created, all while educating guests on aroma, taste and texture.
Liqueur-filled chocolates include:
- Milk Chocolate Amaretto Crème Liqueur: almond, cocoa and vanilla notes with tastes of apricot, caramel and vanilla
- Milk Chocolate Coffee Crème Liqueur: coffee notes accompanied by espresso, cooked milk, caramel and vanilla flavors
- Dark Chocolate Bourbon Crème Liqueur: roasted, cocoa and espresso/coffee notes flavors of oak, tobacco, roasted cocoa and coffee
- Dark Chocolate Irish Crème Liqueur: milk/dairy, roasted cocoa and vanilla notes paired with tastes of molasses, cooked milk, chocolate, caramel and vanilla
At the Charter Groups Entrance, located on The LINQ Promenade, just beneath the wheel, guests receive a voucher for a complimentary glass of wine, which may be picked up in the Sky Lounge prior to boarding. Guests then board the observation wheel for the Tasting Experience.
Tastings are available every Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the final experience of the night taking place at 8 p.m. Standard admission pricing is $52 per person and guests must be age 21 or older. Private cabins for the Chocolate Tasting Experience are also available; each Chocolate Tasting cabin can accommodate up to 15 guests.
To purchase this experience, please call (702) 322-0593 or visit the Charter Groups Lobby located on The LINQ Promenade.
