John Hall’s Alaska has announced a series of tour packages for 2023 to mark its 40th anniversary celebrations. The multi-generational, family-owned business in the 49th state will launch both new and popular tour packages next year.
The 11-day “Alaska Bears & Bering Sea” tour will headline the 2023 season. This newest itinerary begins in Nome, the famed Gold Rush town in Alaska and continues on to Denali, Knik River and Kodiak. Highlights of the trip include traveling on the Alaska Railroad’s GoldStar service in glass-dome cars; Denali National Park wildlife tour with a stop at the park’s visitor center; an exclusive dog-sledding presentation at Dream A Dream kennel; flightseeing tour at Kodiak Wildlife Reserve; and exploring World War II bunkers on a visit to Fort Abercrombie. Bookings are available for this limited capacity tour.
“Our ‘Alaska Bears & Bering Sea’ tour was made for the guests who seek wildlife and adventure,” said John Hall Sr., president and founder. “In this tour, we’ve pieced all the major highlights from some of our other packages and put it into one. For 11 days, guests will experience everything from giant Kodiak brown bears to flightseeing over volcanoes and glaciers for an ultimate small group guided package.”
John Hall’s Alaska will offer seven more all-inclusive, multi-day, escorted packages in 2023, which include:
- The 18-day “Alaska & The Canadian Rockies” itinerary commences from Seattle, moves through the Canadian Rockies and on to the Great Land. It takes guests to such parks as Banff, Stone Mountain, Kluane, Denali and Kenai Fjords. This itinerary departs May 31, 2023.
- The 11-day “Untamed Alaska” itinerary combines time in some of Alaska’s small towns with bucket-list activities and attractions such as visiting Denali, viewing glaciers and searching for Alaska’s “big five.” Departures are offered in June and late July.
- Guests on the 14-day “1898 Alaska and Yukon Gold Rush” itinerary can retrace Gold Rush history. The journey begins in Anchorage into the Yukon and then drops down into the Inside Passage. Departures are offered in June and July.
- The 10-day “Grand Slam Alaska” itinerary takes visitors throughout south-central and interior Alaska, offering opportunities to view glaciers, go whale watching, experience local culture, visit national parks and much more. This popular itinerary for first-time Alaska visitors runs weekly from June through August.
- The 14-day “National Parks of Alaska” itinerary offers guests the opportunity to visit six national parks in Alaska, with the ability to add pre- and post-trip stops to be able to visit all eight national parks. The popular, limited capacity itinerary is offered on three departures in July.
- The “Platinum Inside Passage Experience” is a custom-built itinerary by John Hall’s Alaska. Guests travel the Inside Passage by private day boat into some of Southeast Alaska’s most wildlife-rich and historic coastal areas. This itinerary begins service on June 17.
All tours and cruises include hands-on, educational attractions and fully guided service, besides wildlife, scenery and cultural interactions. John Hall’s Alaska has also launched its Black Label product designation. Black Label itineraries accommodate under 28 passengers per trip in the newest motorcoach fleet. Next year’s itineraries with this designation include the “National Parks of Alaska” and “Alaska Bears & Bering Sea” departures.
