Kensington Tours Launches New Ski Getaways

Kensington Tours has launched “Ski the World, Differently,” a set of new ski-themed getaways. These experiences are designed to address the growing demand for sport-themed and adventure travel.

Kensington will roll out the ski itineraries in two phases across eight countries and 16 ski resorts. The first phase will include trips to ski destinations in Italy, Austria, France, Switzerland and Japan. Each itinerary will provide a resort skiing experience, combining luxe accommodations with easy access to the slopes, along with inclusions such as ski passes, equipment rentals, and private ski guides and lessons. A range of après-ski options from dining to spa amenities are available for those who are more focused on activities off the slopes.

The second phase of the launch will expand the offerings to include Chile, Argentina and Canada.

Travelers can choose from either eight- or nine-day getaways or longer trips of 10-12 days that also include opportunities for private guided touring in the destination. Here are a few sample itineraries:

  • Experience an eight-day "Swiss Alps" ski vacation at Zermatt Resort that includes a four-day Cervinia pass to enjoy cross-border skiing between Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Stay at Hotel Alpenhof, just steps from the Sunnegga lift, make use of wellness amenities, and ski the Gornergrat glacier’s red and black runs before enjoying Zermatt’s après-ski scene.
  • Experience the charm of Italy’s Dolomites with a nine-day ski adventure offering ski-in/ski-out access and personalized equipment rentals. Ski across Dolomiti Superski’s 745 miles of terrain or embark on a private helicopter flight for a thrilling descent on Marmolada. On non-ski days, partake in other recreational activities including snowshoeing, sledding and savoring Tyrolean cuisine, with Selva di Gardena’s après-ski scene as the backdrop.
  • On the eight-day "Austrian Alps" ski getaway at Kitzbühel resort, enjoy five days of skiing with a KitzSki pass, private guide and personalized rentals, while staying at the alpine Hotel Tennerhof, situated just minutes from the lifts and village.
  • The 10-day "Niseko Ski and Snow Monkeys" itinerary in Japan combines the best of ski slopes and cultural experiences. Ski Niseko’s slopes with a three-day pass, unwind in an onsen, and explore Tokyo’s food scene. This itinerary includes a visit to see snow monkeys in their natural hot spring habitat, offering a unique winter experience.
  • The Courchevel luxury private villa experience in the French Alps begins with a private food tour. Stay in a private chalet, spend the day skiing the perfectly groomed pistes and savor world-class dining in the evenings.
