The award-winning Lip Smacking Foodie Tours is introducing its culinary experience to San Jose, CA’s upscale Santana Row. This expansion marks the first time the culinary tour operator is expanding its reach beyond Las Vegas. With the Santana Rowpiazza being the epicenter of Silicon Valley and attracting 12 million visitors annually, Lip-Smacking Foodie Tours founder Donald Contursi says its an ideal spot to take guests for a “VIP-style dining tourism experience.”
The Lip-Smacking Foodie Tour includes visits at up to four restaurants such as LB Steak, Left Bank Brasserie, Ozumo and EMC Seafood &Raw Bar. Each restaurant will present distinctive dishes to all guests.
Also available will be cocktail packages that will enable guests to indulge in signature cocktails at each stop along the way.
In addition to indulging in each venue’s dishes and cocktails, other Lip Smacking perks include meet-and-greets with chefs, tours of the kitchen and trivia about the restaurants and resorts that are featured on the tour. Insight into the city will also be provided, such as a stop at the Lee de Forest Building, honoring the San Jose inventor of the vacuum tube in 1906, which made radio broadcasting, long-distance telephone lines and motion pictures with sound possible; also a focal point is the art installation “Tabula Selenographica’’ by French artist Christine Foulche, which can be found in the ceiling of one of the promenades and depicts 28 lunar phases of the moon as viewed through a telescope.
With an expert guide leading the way, this culinary walking tour is for everyone from solo travelers to corporate groups of up to 250 people. For more information on Lip Smacking Foodie Tours expansion to Santana Row, visit vegasfoodietour.com.
