Travelers have until this Saturday, March 16 to register for Pedego Electric Bikes’ three-night Arizona trip. Running from April 9 to April 12, the tour will include all meals, three nights accommodations at the Scottsdale Resort McCormick Ranch, a Pedego electric bike rental and about 45 miles of cycling.
April 10 will mark the trip’s first full day of biking. Starting at the Pedego McDowell Mountain store, participants will begin with an eight-mile ride on the McDowell Mountain Loop, stopping to take a short hike along the way, and then hit the desert for a five-mile trip along the DC Ranch Loop. After breaking for lunch, guests will head back to the desert, riding three miles to Pinnacle Peak. The first day will finish with an eight-mile trip back to the Pedego store before returning to the resort.
The next day will begin with a one-hour tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s former home and studio Taliesen West. From there, bikers will ride 10 miles to McCormick Ranch Park, where they will eat a picnic lunch. After that, guests will travel five miles to Old Town Scottsdale for ice cream and then go another five miles from there to Tempe Town Lake, at which point they will return to the resort.
The Pedego Vacation Scottsdale costs $2,199 per person for double occupancy and $2,599 for single occupancy. Space is limited, and registration ends March 16. Pedego will offer similar adventures later in the year in Massachusetts, Washington and Oregon.
