Pleasant Holidays and its luxury brand, Journese, have launched the “Maui Strong Vacation Sale” and travel advisor incentives to encourage bookings to the island as it seeks to recover from the recent wildfires.
The “Maui Strong Vacation Sale” features a range of offers including up to 40 percent discount on hotel room rates, free nights, food & beverage credits and more at 15 participating hotels on Maui, including Fairmont Kea Lani, Kapalua Villas Maui, Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, Hotel Wailea, Relais & Chateaux and Wailea Beach Resort – Marriott, Maui. Pleasant Holidays and Journese offer all major airlines serving Maui, inter-island flights plus a broad selection of Maui experiences, luaus, events and Hertz Car Rentals.
Additionally, travel advisors achieving the highest qualifying sales to Maui will earn a future travel credit of $1,000 along with 5,000 bonus TRIP Points to apply toward their personal travel. The second-, third- and fourth-highest selling travel advisors earn future travel credit prizes of $500, $250 and $100, respectively. Future travel credits may be redeemed for personal travel or gifted to a client for travel to any destination offered by Pleasant Holidays and Journese.
The vacation sale is valid on new bookings at participating resorts made through December 31, 2023 for travel through December 31, 2024. Individual offers vary by hotel and travel dates, and may be category-specific, require advance booking and/or require a minimum night stay.
The travel advisor incentive is valid for new Pleasant Holidays or Journese Maui travel bookings, including Norwegian Cruise Line “Pride of America” vacations, pre- and post-cruise extensions made by December 31, 2023 for travel through December 31, 2024 and, based on the individual travel advisor’s cumulative gross sales for Pleasant Holidays and Journese combined, with a sales minimum of $10,000 during the incentive period. “Pleasant Activities” and “Air by Pleasant” bookings are not valid for the incentive.
“Maui is open to visitors outside the areas most severely impacted by the recent wildfires, and Pleasant Holidays and Journese are committed to supporting Maui’s tourism economy,” said Jack E. Richards, president and CEO, Pleasant Holidays. “The resort areas of Wailea, Kihei, Makena and Hana are welcoming visitors with prime accommodations and numerous opportunities to explore the island and culture of Maui through tours, luaus, hiking and more, while the West Maui communities of Kaanapali, Napili and Kapalua will reopen throughout October with only Lahaina closed to the public.”
Pleasant Holidays and Journese recommend all Hawaii bookings include a travel protection plan and travel advisors’ commission up to 100 percent.
