Travel Impressions communications manager Su-Jit Lin will be traveling to Panama via Copa Airlines to scour the nation, including its cities, beaches, and rainforests. The initiative comes with Panama’s inclusion among CNN’s rankings of up-and-coming destinations and Forbes’ Top 16 for 2016.
Travel agents are invited to virtually join in to gain valuable insight on selling Panama by following Su-Jit’s journey on Facebook via the hashtag #Panamania, from January 9 - 14.
Travel Impressions will also be documenting the travel itself with partner Copa Airlines, member of the Star Alliance network. Copa Airlines offers nonstop flights from 12 U.S. destinations to Copa’s Hub of the Americas at Tocumen International Airport in Panama. Copa Airlines has connections to more than 55 destinations throughout Latin America.
The agent-only wholesaler is utilizing social media as a platform for its “EducaTIon First” initiative designed to give agents the inside edge they need to sell its resort and destination partners more efficiently. Most recently, Travel Impressions hosted a weeklong #DiscoverAtlanTIs takeover, diving into Atlantis, Paradise Island. Travel agents who followed the award-winning tour operator were given a real-time look at the resort complex.
Travel Impressions also just capped off a #WeekendLearning series highlighting five Ritz-Carlton properties in Aruba, Cancun, Grand Cayman, San Juan, and St. Thomas. Travel agents can review the campaign via the hashtags #RCInsider and #RCMemories to learn about Ritz-Carlton’s eco-activities, celebrity chef restaurant concepts, hands-on culinary experiences, wellness programs, and amenities.
