Unforgettable Travel Company has launched its collection of small-ship cruise and land itineraries for Greece in 2025. This offering builds upon more than six years’ destination experience with sister company Unforgettable Greece and its specialist team based in Athens. Individually designed pre- and post-cruise land elements include hand-picked hotels, private tours and excursions led by expert guides in mainland Greece and the islands, as well as further afield in destinations like Dubrovnik and Sorrento.
Land itineraries available for guests include visiting Acropolis after-hours with an archeologist; enjoying Santorini’s sunset on a private yacht; cheese-making in Crete; cooking local dishes with a Greek family at their home in Mykonos; and taking in views of Meteora by helicopter. In collaboration with select small-ship cruise lines, including Windstar Cruises and Variety Cruises, Unforgettable Travel is offering itineraries dedicated to destination immersion.
Sample itineraries available to book now for travel between May and October 2025 include:
- Nine-night “Highlights of Greece” itinerary – Guests will spend two nights in Athens, exploring Greek food, art and culture. They will enjoy a private tour of the Temple of Poseidon at sunset. Next, they will board a seven-night cruise hosted by Unforgettable Travel onboard Variety Voyager. Destinations include Cyclades, Santorini, Mykonos, UNESCO-listed Delos, Crete, Kythira and more. This departure will include a tour leader for the duration of the cruise. As with every Unforgettable Travel Company itinerary, guests may tailor their trips to include options such as additional time in Athens, on the Amalfi Coast or in Dubrovnik post-cruise. Departures available on September 3 and 10, 2025.
- Nine-night “Wonders of the Greek Isles” itinerary – With two nights to explore Athens, guests enjoy a private tour of Acropolis and sample culinary highlights on a private gourmet tour. They will board a seven-night Windstar cruise, sailing between the Greek islands such as Santorini and Mykonos. Guests will explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Venetian fortress of Nafplion, the tiny island of Patmos and, after calling at Kusadasi in Türkiye, the ancient city of Ephesus. They can dine among the ruins on a Windstar-exclusive evening Destination Discovery Event. Departures are available between May and October 2025.
Further itineraries and departures will be announced this autumn with Unforgettable Travel working with cruise lines including Ponant, Emerald Cruises, Star Clippers, SeaDream Yacht Club and Seabourn Cruises in other parts of Europe and the world.
