WeRoad, while bills itself as Europe’s fastest-growing adventure travel company, has launched a new global trade partnership program aimed at travel advisors, OTAs, and independent advisors worldwide. The initiative opens access to more than 300 curated itineraries across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Oceania, and the Americas.
WeRoad specializes in small-group adventures (8–15 travelers) for solo clients aged 25 to 49, a demographic increasingly booking through advisors. A recent American Express report cited in the announcement found that 76 percent of Millennials and Gen Z travelers planned a solo trip in 2024, with nearly 4 in 10 preferring to book with an advisor.
“At WeRoad, our trips are designed to spark friendships and build communities that last long after the journey ends,” Andrea Lamperini, chief operating officer at WeRoad, said in a statement. “Expanding our partnerships internationally opens the door for more travellers to share those experiences. We’re excited to offer agents and OTAs access to a community-oriented product we’re confident their clients will love, alongside one of the most competitive commission structures in the market.”
Early partnerships with Bluvacanze (Italy), Tourhub (UK) and Arrival Travel (Australia) showcase momentum. Bluvacanze, which has been live since March 2025, serves 300,000 travelers annually across 600 agencies, with most customers booking bundled flights and insurance—offering advisors additional commission opportunities.
“We’re delighted to partner with WeRoad to bring their distinctive community-based travel experiences to our network,” Seamus Conlon, CEO of Tourhub, said in a statement. “Their small groups, immersive itineraries, and focus on building connections that turn solo journeys into lasting friendships offer something fresh for the 25–49 age group and solo travelers, making them a strong complement to our portfolio.”
The program includes:
- Commission and rewards: Competitive commission on every booking, extra rewards for new customer acquisition, and bonus structures.
- Bundled earnings: Partners retain 100 percent of commission on airfare and travel insurance sold with WeRoad trips.
- Sales support: Ongoing incentives, training, and familiarization trips.
- Technology access: Bookings available manually or via API integration.
Founded in Italy in 2017, WeRoad has grown its customer base to more than 200,000 travelers, generated €100 million in revenue in 2024 (up 70 percent year-over-year), and maintains a 4.7 Trustpilot rating. Around 90 percent of its customers join trips solo, and the company emphasizes its mission to tackle loneliness by creating lasting friendships through travel.
WeRoad operates in Italy, Spain, the UK, France, and Germany, offering trips in local languages as well as English-language departures for international markets. Its itineraries range from hiking in Patagonia to exploring hidden Vietnamese villages to celebrating Oktoberfest in Munich.
The company anticipates that trade partnerships will eventually make up 20 to 25 percent of its total bookings.
