On its official Twitter account, Sydney Airport reports that the airport is still expecting some delays due to fog this morning. Travelers headed to the airport are advised to check with their airline for the latest information.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the fog reduced visibility to 50 meters in some parts of the greater Sydney metropolitan area, slowing traffic. The southwestern porting of the metropolitan area, particularly around Camden, was the hardest-hit by the fog.
The fog is expected to lift Monday. Weather forecasts call for a mostly sunny day with highs in the upper 60s. The rest of the week, however, travelers are warned to expect more rain.
