Air France – KLM and Accor are expanding their existing loyalty program partnership with a new program that allows travelers to simultaneously earn points and miles while traveling with both companies. The Miles+Points program allows travelers to earn miles for their hotel stay and points for each flight, as well as to convert miles and reward points for additional ways to redeem.
Every time Air France or Accor customers travel on a flight marketed and operated by Air France and/or KLM, or stay a night at an Accor hotel, they will now simultaneously earn both Flying Blue Miles and Le Club AccorHotels Reward points. Travelers will earn half a point per euro spent on flights and one mile per euro spent on hotel nights. Both benefits will be in addition to the regular mile or point accrual the traveler would have earned.
Additionally, guests will be able to convert miles into points, and vice versa. Four thousand miles equals 1,000 reward points, while 2,000 reward points equals 1,000 miles.
To take advantage of the new service, members must link their accounts on www.flyingblue.com or on the Le Club AccorHotels website. After registering, customers will earn Flying Blue Miles and Le Club AccorHotels Reward Points automatically when flying with Air France and/or KLM or staying in a Le Club AccorHotels participating hotel.
